Design Comparison

RealMe X2 Pro vs OnePlus 7T Design Comparison

Starting over the design, this is the RealMe X2 Pro and the OnePlus 7T side by side. Well yeah, they both look almost identical from the front but from the back not so much. They have differently styled camera setups to have different glass finishes although both feature gorilla glass pipe on end. Well, all in all, both of these phones look and feel very premium. And yeah it’s very subjective so depends on what you guys prefer. Anyway, when it comes to functionality, there are similarities as well. Look both the phones have dual SIM slots but no micro SD slot. Both have dual stereo speakers which sound reasonably loud and crisp and both the phones also have the in-display fingerprint scanner, and you guessed it both scanners are high-speed and very similar. These phones are very evenly matched here. However, the RealMe X2 Pro does have one key difference, and that is the headphone jack while the OnePlus 7T does not have it.

Display Comparison

Next up let’s compare the displays which like a lot of other things on both of these phones are very similar. RealMe X2 Pro and OnePlus 7T come with 6.5″ AMOLED displays with HDR 10 plus support, Gorilla Glass 5 and most importantly the same high 90Hz refresh rate. And honestly, you cannot go wrong with either of these displays, the sharp and vibrant with beautiful blacks and the 90Hz refresh rate make sure everything beats the animations, the UI everything just flows, so you know no knowledge on the display front.

Camera Feature

They are moving on to the cameras where hopefully things are a bit different. I mean the specs from them are. RealMe X2 Pro camera feature

RealMe X2 Pro features a quad camera setup including a 64MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a telephoto lens capable of 20X zoom and a depth sensor.

OnePlus 7T Camera Feature

The OnePlus 7T, on the other hand, features a 48MP primary camera, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens and telephoto lens.

Camera Comparison

Day time camera

Here are 1 daytime shot from these phones. And let me tell you straight away that these phones take very similar photos as you can see. RealMe X2 Pro vs OnePlus 7T Day time camera photos

However, there are a few differences if you notice. Sometimes the X2 Pro captures the more attractive looking short ones; sometimes the 7T captures better details as you can see in this photo by zooming in.

Low light camera

RealMe X2 Pro vs OnePlus 7T Low light camera photo

In low light, the 7T photos look sharper. But again it’s not a big difference when it comes to the ultra-wide-angle lens.

Ultra-wide lens mode

Both of the photos capture decent cool looking photos over the 7T photos do have more contrast making them a little more appealing.

Portrait mode camera

I also took a few more shots and well again, these photos look very similar to the colour of the details. Sometimes the OnePlus 7T does the face moving a little more so perhaps something I don’t like. Apart from that the RealMe X2 Pro does have one feature that kind of trumps the OnePlus 7T. The RealMe X2 Pro has 5X hybrid zoom and 20 x digital zoom. The OnePlus 7T has 10x daily zoom, so check this out below:

There’s how much you can zoom in with the X2 Pro’s telephoto lens, and this is how much you can zoom with the 7T. That’s a big difference.

Video capabilities

I am moving on what comes to video capabilities. Both the phone shoot 4K and 60FPS videos. Here is a screenshot of a comparison video.

Video comparison

RealMe X2 Pro vs OnePlus 7T Video comparison

The RealMe X2 Pro has the more natural colours which the eye likes and the OnePlus 7T does seem very warm. However, the OnePlus 7T does look a little smoother thanks to OIS. So again no clear winner apart from that but the phones can shoot videos from the ultra-wide-angle lens, and both of them have the super steady mode or the ultra steady mode whatever you call it. However, the RealMe X2 Pro has one new feature, and the 7T lacks that is the portrait mode video. Here’s more footage from the X2 Pro and as you can see, it is pretty good with proper edge detection and pretty good quality. This is something the 7T mises out of.

Selfie Camera

RealMe X2 Pro vs OnePlus Selfie Camera features

Lastly, on the camera front and selfies. Both the phones have the same 16MP selfie camera. The photos are just so similar. Overall the camera performance on both of these phones is pretty good. And if you think about it, the performance is just too same to judge one winner. Both of them have their advantages, and I think you’re getting good cameras on both of these phones.

Hardware Comparison

RealMe X2 Pro vs OnePlus Hardware Comparison

We wanted the hardware and well. Or what do I say things are again. Yeah, you guessed it identical. These phones come with top of the line specs. You get the Snapdragon 855+, UFS3.0 storage and lots of Ram. These are some great flagship specs. Not many of the benchmarks in Antutu that give me extra proof does better.

As you can see I’m not sure why because the specs are identical anyway in Geekbench, the OnePlus 7T does better. So yeah it’s all balanced out when it comes to the real-world performance. Though it’s hard to find a difference, both phones handle daily use with ease, and even the intensive apps are not a problem.

Gaming Comparison

RealMe X2 Pro vs OnePlus Gaming Comparison

On the gaming front, RealMe X2 Pro And the OnePlus 7T are flagships. Pubg mobile runs smooth and pleasant, and while they do get warm after a long session, there are no alarming heat issues.

Performance Comparison

RealMe X2 Pro vs OnePlus 7T Performance Comparison

The performance on both of these phones is top notch no doubts. The RealMe X2 Pro comes with a colour OS 6.1 on board. And yeah it includes a ton of cool features including the new dark more digital well-being navigation gestures and a lot more but oxygen OS on the OnePlus 7T also brings the same feature set while being a cleaner experience. Look, there’s no doubt that the OnePlus 7T soft expertise is better.

The OnePlus 7T brings in the better softer experience, and RealMe X2 Pro brings a slightly bigger battery way faster charging and the headphone jack.

Battery Comparison

RealMe X2 Pro vs OnePlus 7T Battery Comparison

Lastly, there’s the battery and the charging. The RealMe X2 Pro has a slightly bigger battery here, and it has super-fast 50-watt charging compared to the 30T warp charge on the OnePlus 7T. Anyway because of the battery performance, both the phones are similar and should last you a day easily. However, the difference is on the charging front OnePlus has always talked about fast charging speeds with pride but RealMe has that beat with the X2 Pro. So the 7T charges from 10-100% in around 55 minutes which is quick no doubt but the X2 pro goes from 10-100% in an insane 25 minutes with the 50-watt charger. RealMe kind of has beaten OnePlus at their own game. Well, that’s pretty much all the media points to compare between the RealMe X2 Pro and the OnePlus 7T and well one thing is pretty clear both of these points are very similar.

Price Comparison

At the end of it all, it all comes down to the price. And that’s where the RealMe X2 Pro comes with a fantastic price At ₹ 29,000 and Oneplus 7T come with ₹ 37,999.

Conclusion

The OnePlus 7T is excellent to buy, but RealMe X2 Pro, all of which features is undoubtedly the more value for money. I think the RealMe is the winner on his hands, but that was our comparison of the RealMe X2 Pro and the OnePlus 7T.
